First impressions are vital when it comes to the relationship a person will have with another being or, in this case, beauty products. I've been thinking about doing first impression posts on products, especially if I like them and am willing to recommend it. So, without further ado, here are my first impressions.

The Milk Makeup Kush Lip Balm is a lip balm that I stumbled upon on YouTube. It was recommended by a YoutTuber and I figured I'd give it a try. My first thought was the cooling feeling the lip balm has. It's a slightly cool, minty feeling. That cool feeling also slowly fades, but its so refreshing and its something I quite enjoy about this product. It felt lovely. In fact, after the first use, my lips felt smoother and softer. I wonder if the balm is secretly medicinal. Hmm.

This particular lip balm is glossy. As the balm continues to dry, the lip balm remains glossy. I also really like that the lip balm adds color to the lips. I bought the shade Plushberry. If you apply a little bit, the color will be subtle. If you apply a lot, the color becomes more apparent. I do enjoy berry tones when it comes to my lipsticks. The Kush lip balm has things I do enjoy in balms that I use. I like that it's sheer, but I would love it more if it wasn't. The shade Plushberry is so pretty. I'd love the color to be more prominent. I would love the products to be as bold as lipstick, as glossy as lip gloss, and as medicinal as my favorite balm.

All in all, I think the Kush Lip Balm from Milk is lovely, I'd recommend this to someone who is looking for the qualities I listed above.

Sephora's 2 In 1 Oil Mask is a first for me. I don't think I've ever tried a sheet mask before. Believe me when I tell you that I had fun using one for the first time. It is quite relaxing to use face masks. In fact, I almost fell asleep in the sixty seconds I wore the face mask.

I use the Oil-to-Milk cleanser from L'Occitane which helps with keeping my face hydrated and glowing. I know how well the right oils work for my face. At the moment, my skin needs a little extra push. I chose this mask because it's an oil mask.  I never want to overwhelm my skin with a bunch of oils, but I figured one face mask won't hurt. It's also a vegan product. Sign me up for that!

When I unpacked the face mask, I was surprised by how rich with product the mask is. It's dripping in organic aloe vera oil. The mask is meant to be worn for a minute. It covers the entire face including the eyelids. I sat there for sixty seconds think about how wonderful the oils felt on my fingers when I put the mask on. After a minute, I rubbed the mask a little to get as much product on my face as I could. When I took it off, I rubbed the oil into my face like directions said. Then I proceeded to wash it off with warm water.

If you have dry skin, I would say to give it a go. I waited another minute before finishing my skincare routine. My skin was glowing more than usual after I applied the mask. My skin look brand new and ready to face the world. With the abundant amount of product on this face mask, this face mask would work best with dry skin. I did read other consumer ratings and people who have combination and oily skin liked what the product did and some didn't. I really like this product and I will be buying this again the next time I go to Zara.

When a girl wants a lipstick, a girl wants a lipstick. No ands, ifs, or buts. I wanted a new lipstick. I couldn't help myself. I bought the L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipcolour lipstick in the shade Spiced Cider. After paying for the lipstick, I found a mirror so I could put it on. It was love at first sight. My first thoughts were about the color. It's so pretty. When the lipstick is applied, the color appears to shimmer in the light. If yesterday was an insecure kind of day, then the color and shimmer of the lipstick would have been enough to brighten up the day.

The Colour Riche Lipcolour line of lipsticks has a satin finish. I am all for a satin lip. I love lipstick that can be applied effortlessly. As the lipstick set, it didn't dry out my lips. In fact, my lips felt moisturized for the entire duration of wearing lipstick. When the lipstick was removed, my lips still didn't feel dry. My lips remained soft. In fact, my lips felt like I had applied a lip balm instead of a lipstick.

I like to believe that a lipstick that doesn't dry out my lips is a lipstick meant for me. Besides how I felt during and after wearing lipstick. I loved the range of colors that L'Oreal has. All of the lipsticks were organized by types of lipstick and finish. Then they were subcategorized by color family and shades withing those color families. My favorite lipsticks shades are those that reflect autumn. I love the brown and berry shades. This particular store had a large selection and I will definitely be going back tomorrow for more.

Have you ever tried any L'oreal lipsticks, MILK Makeup Kush Lip Balm or the Sephora 2 In 1 Oil Mask before? What are your thoughts on these products?
